Who is eligible to apply for a grant from UpMobility Foundation?
Grants are typically available to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and community groups.
How do I apply for a grant?
Applicants need to register their nonprofit in UMF’s grant portal system. You will find this link on our website at the top right corner of each page. Refer to the home page for the current application or funding opportunity!
You can expect the application to require (but not limited to) details about the project, budget, timeline, and expected outcomes.
What happens after I submit a grant application?
After submitting an application, it will undergo a review process which includes an initial screening, evaluation by grant managers, and possibly an interview or site visit. More questions may be asked.
How are grant decisions made?
Grant decisions are typically based on criteria such as alignment with our foundation’s mission, feasibility of the project, potential impact, and budget considerations. Applications are reviewed by a grants committee and as well as the board of directors.
How much money can my organization request from UpMobility Foundation? Is there a preferred grant request amount range?
